I pride myself on creating videos that stand out. I am also an award-winning video creator, which is cool 🙂
I use a combination of stop motion, rotoscoping, found footage, animation, and film. I approach projects with childlike wonder and aim to stimulate the viewer’s imagination.

The Burning Hell is a Prince Edward Island-based band that is on You’ve Changed Records.

LAWRENCE MAXWELL – BACK TO CAPE BRETON

A perfect example of a Global Pandemic music video: “Hey I need a video, but we’re all under quarentine!”
This video was shot on PEI by Shane Pendergast on a green screen and then edited in Halifax by me. I really wanted to capture a late night infomercial feeling, as well as give the audience a taste of Lawrence Maxwell’s weird/twisted humour.

RICH AUCOIN – EULOGY OF REGRET

This song was originally intended as the score for an immersive theatre project by XO Secret out of Halifax. Due to the pandemic, the project was cancelled but they still wanted to create something with the footage they had gathered from their pre-pandemic rehearsals. This video was made by combining over 3600 drawings (that were drawn over the stills). The video is about the journey of one individual as they make their way through their life navigating common milestones (some good and others not so good).

DENNIS ELLSWORTH – BOUND BY LOVE

This video picked up the award for “Best Video” at the 23rd annual PEI Music Awards.
It was created almost entirely on an iPad.
It follows a small cat as he makes his journey through the woods, eating some mushrooms along the way and having a strange & wonderful experience. Eventually he makes his way home after a day well spent.
